Yesterday, I recommended the 30 Day Shred to my friend Kelly who commented on her Facebook page that "Tori Spelling took 7 months to lose her baby fat" and that she had "one month to go".Afterward, I realized that I had one month to go before my 47th birthday and a visit from my first room mate and grade school through college friend, Rosa later that month, who, which goes without saying, will be armed and ready to shoot me with her camera and plaster my image all over her Facebook wall!
I decided this morning to go back to Target and buy the 30 Day Shred for myself and I am about to spend the next hour or so, prepping for the diet plan that I intend to follow. Part of me thinks that it will be more effective to go back on the Lemonade/Cayenne diet but I haven't been able to stick to that diet lately. In order for that to work, you can't cheat at all period and you can't get off of it for a minimum of 10 days to see any significant results or changes in your weight.
I am going on Jillian's 30 Shred because my major concern is my muscle tone and I don't want to end up with flab. I want to keep things "Tight and Right"!
Also on my "To Do" list is to call the lady at work that said she would go to the gym with me. I pretty much blew her off. i also need to call my cousin Debbie and get her on board with walking with me after work. The problem with Debbie is that she bitches and complains too much and she can't keep up the pace. She walks too damn slow and I need someone who has endurance and is motivated to do this thing with me.
I also plan to start putting some events on my social calendar and keep myself from working overtime. Working overtime is only making me fat, stressed out and unmotivated to get up and to get out and to live my life.
Oh, and I am signing up to participate in Team Bringas' Walk in November. I even have family members: Rene and Sharon ready to do this thing with me. I hope I can get Marvin, Andre, Renar and Lynne on board too. Maybe even make this a family reunion event. They seem excited about it and that is really motivating for me. I can't wait to see everybody and to do this with my family. Wow! I love Facebook now! I nearly cut myself off of it too! Well, time to go get this 30 Day shred started! Woo Hoo!

Just opened up the DVD. Jillian offers UNLIMITED access to her online program at www.JillianMichaels.com/shred. I'm going in!
I've calculated my reasonable weight to be between 114 - 144 lbs and my target weight to be 120 lbs. Based on my answers, this is what my customized weight loss plan looks like:
Here's Your Customized Weight Loss Plan:
Based on your answers, here's my triple-threat plan for you. My online program makes weight-loss simple, with real solutions for people who want to lose weight and keep it off.
You're Proportionate — you can lose all over!
Since you're one of the lucky few who distribute fat cells equally throughout your body, you probably gain and lose weight evenly. It can take a longer time to target certain areas — but it pays off.
That's where I come in. I have exercises that will get you results. My personalized program will help you shed weight all over. But you got to get a grip — you can only win against genetics up to a certain point. Once you understand this, you can let go of unreachable goals and replace them with real ones.
I'll create your personalized exercise program based on the days you prefer to work out, the goals you set for yourself, and the exercises you enjoy. After all, if you enjoy your workout, it's easier to stick to.
I'll encourage you to:
Cycle — indoors or out. At 13 mph, you could burn 600 calories an hour.
Run indoors or out. All you need are good running shoes. And at 5 mph, you’ll burn over 400 calories an hour.
Get on the stair stepper. You’ll burn calories and tone your hamstrings, glutes, and calves at the same time.
Go for a swim. It’s kinder to your joints and easy for people who are less fit. Plus, by alternating strokes, you can target different muscles.
Play your favorite sports. It’s a whole lot more fun than sweating it out by yourself. And you will often be toning your whole body while burning calories.
Ready to start my diet and start losing weight?
You're a balanced oxidizer.
Because you crave fruit and bread as well as salty foods, cheeses, and meats, you may be a balanced oxidizer. This is the fancy term for your metabolic rate. It simply means that you need equal proportions of protein, carbs, and fat to process the nutrients in your food optimally, and to produce and use the resulting energy. Lucky you — your diet is the easiest to follow! You feel your best on a diet that incorporates a wide range of foods, and your ideal macronutrient ratio is 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat.
But the bottom line is, you have to burn more calories than you take in. That's it. And to really do this successfully, you have to eat the ideal diet for your body and metabolism. Believe me — I've struggled with this myself. And I've done a lot of research and work to figure out my ideal diet. And now I want to share my findings with you. I have recipes and snacks that will help you eat better for your body type. And I have secrets and tricks to make it easier. (I didn't say "easy.")

My 7 steps to behavioral modification
Lots of so-called "experts" talk about willpower. Well, I say screw willpower — there's no such thing! Sure, we all have fleeting moments of bravado. But that virtue comes and goes. I'm going to teach you some basic techniques to change your habits and program yourself against failure!
You are going to have to do the work, though. I don't want to hear that you don't have the time. If that's your excuse, then get back to me when you're ready. I'll be here.
Ready? Okay, good. Let's make some changes together:
1. Avoid dangerous situations. STOP driving by the doughnut shop on your way to work. [i don't do this, thank God! Sweets are NOT one of my cravings] When you go out to dinner, ask the waiter not to bring bread to your table. [Ok. This will suck!}
2. Get a hobby. Start taking your dog on longer walks. [No dog. Now what?] Fix up your attic. By focusing on positive activities, you'll find yourself becoming more relaxed, happier, and thinner!
3. Curb mindless eating. Don't eat while standing up, and don't skip meals. Brush your teeth after every meal and snack. Food never seems as appealing when you have that toothpaste taste in your mouth. [True. More frequent brushing helps]
These life changes will help you lose weight and keep it off. To learn more about each one and to see the other four — sign up for my online program.
CRAP! Should have known, it's not really free. Just hit the page that says " Get your 30 Day Free Trial!" After the 30 days, it's $4.00 a week. Still, not bad. But do I need it? I already have an online calculator. All I need is a diet plan that is 40-30-30. And that's the tricky part. Okay, so, here's how the weight loss program works and what you get IF you sign up:
