10 Days of NO Blogging


I've been preoccupied with preparing to return to work on Monday and have neglected blogging in this journal.

I stopped using Roca Labs once I felt in control of my food intake and stopped worrying about what I was eating after realizing that my routines were the same:

AM Breakfast
coffee
turkey bacon
eggs

Lunch
Tuna

Dinner
variable*

Funds are low so sometimes I have rice or breakfast for dinner. Last night I had a burger and fries from Toojay's that I had split in half and ate 1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for dinner.

I also had pizza and calzone this week. The great thing is that instead of ordering a large pizza for myself and a large pizza for my son, I ordered one large pizza and it came with a calzone for free (special at Pizza Hut) that I cut in 1/2 and shared with my son.

The secret REALLY is to cut your portions in half.

Well, I am off track, a bit , but still in control of my food intake. I decided that since I return to work next week, I will start taking the Roca Labs again but in the afternoon since my problem with overeating is primarily in the evening and wee hours of the morning.

Right now, my focus is on sleep.

Getting to bed at a decent hour and staying in my bed and out of my refrigerator at night. Also, limiting my time on my computer. I find that I spend too many hours working and that it keeps me awake at odd hours.

I discovered Second Life and created a character for myself...

I was invited to join Google Chrome...

I have been making Animoto Slides and researching and creating lesson plans.

Meanwhile, neglecting my goal to focus on my health and fitness so today, I am fasting and meditating on being in control of my diet and motivated to be in shape.

I am spiritually cleansing.
