
I made 64 ounces of a modified version of the Master Cleanse diet drink this morning by combining...
-fresh ginger
-2 1/4 cups Grade B maple syrup
-2 1 cup Lemon Juice, from concentrate
-cayenne pepper
-64 ounces of filtered water
in the blender.
I was finding it difficult to get back on the Master Cleanse again but with a few variations on the original recipe, I think I can swing this.
I'd like to try it with fresh mint leaves or thinly sliced cucumber...
The blender REALLY helps the mixture feel more full bodied and evens out the taste of the ginger, which, alone I really an not crazy about.
My plan is to begin on the first of June and stay on a liquid diet for 40 + days (July 10th). I will be 49 in October so I would like to try to stay on it a minimum of 49 days (July 19th). If I make it to day 50, which will be July 20th, I would like to celebrate it by going on a nice 3 day mini vacation to the Marriott and ease my way into a nice, soft diet...and a day at the gym, lounging in the pool and jacuzzi.
