Excerpt from: Healthy eating reminders fortify brain's willpower mechanisms
By Melissa Healy/Los Angeles Times/For the Booster Shots Blog

When people who regularly make healthy eating decisions look at food, their brains respond differently from those of people who routinely succumb to dietary temptation. Brain scientists who explore human decision-making have mounting evidence that when we give greater weight to more distant rewards -- such as health -- than to shorter-term pleasures (tucking into a bowl of ice cream), the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex is typically acting in concert with the ventromedial prefrontal cortex. When we succumb as well, the ventromedial prefrontal cortex is at work -- but without the more sober input from the lobe next door.
My thoughts...
I suppose this is why it is so dangerous to spend endless hours watching television...Whether or not we are paying full, conscience attention to what is playing in the background, our brains are being subliminally feed information and suggestions that may not be healthy.
Furthermore, many of us do "mindless eating". that is to say, we are eating, not because we are hungry but because our brains have been nudged into a state of thoughtless abandon.
After reading the aforementioned article this morning, I did a video search for "willpower". Several videos popped up on the 5 Tibetens. Here is a particularly good one as it shows all 5 on one video. There is another, a series showing each one separately, but for the sake of being more concise, I will post the singular one:
Here it is...
Starting at 12:00 Noon TODAY, I will use the Modified Bariatric Diet Menu to cleanse my gastrointestinal tract and to shrink my stomach. What I have been doing is working, slowly, but I constantly feel as if I need to eliminate a huge load, to put it delicately, and I am now tired of eating so much meat.
Additionally, I will follow a routine which includes supplementation and exercise as I will be returning to work soon and I REALLY want to shed 20 pounds between now and the next 14 - 18 days.
I will make a video update on day 21, after starting the Roca Labs Formula. Hopefully, I will have lost more than 3 inches and at least 5 - 10 pounds.

[In keeping with the suggestions from the Mayo Clinic, no pulp. No red dye.]
I have slight headache, which is to be expected, but feel surprisingly more limber. I will take one of the prescribed pain killers I have left over from the shoulder incident IF after the juice and Italian Ice my head still hurts.
